Why do you look forward to Friday?
Besides the relief that comes in driving home after work to start the weekend, picking the kids up from school, finishing classes until Monday or merely knowing you have 2 days for YOU soon to follow, why do you look forward to Fridays?
Any rituals/habits - eat lunch or dinner out, movie night, board games, bar hop, visit a park, travel out of town, early bedtime and sleeping in?

You nailed it with the sleeping in. That is my absolute favorite part of the weekend by far. Waking up before 8am on Saturday is not acceptable, and when I do wake up it's preferable to stay in bed for at least another hour reading a good book or trying to convince my husband to make banana, chocolate chip, whole-wheat pancakes.
After the laziness of the morning, then a good run or walk is fun, or a picnic at the park, a weekend camping trip, board games with a big group of friends, bocce ball or ultimate frisbee at the park, going out to dinner, or an all-night movie marathon accompanied by more sleeping in.
