WHMB-40 today announced that it will televise Butler’s Nov. 14 basketball opener against Davidson.

ESPN’s Jim Barbar will be the play-by-play announcer. Former Indiana coach Dan Dakich will provide commentary.

The agreement follows last week’s announcement that WNDY-23 will televise 13 Butler games. Butler also has at least
eight scheduled appearances on one of the ESPN networks.
Butler is moving closer to its goal of having every game this season televised in the Indianapolis market. The Bulldogs are coming off
a 26-6 season and favored to win a fourth consecutive Horizon League regular-season championship.
Butler will hold an intrasquad scrimmage, open to the public, at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The event is free.
