With the new fall theatrical season lining up, what productions will everyone be auditioning for in the upcoming months? Since it is has been a while since I auditioned for anything, (not to mention, my experience was largely down south) I would like to hear from seasoned veterans as well as newbies about their audition experience and what advice they would give someone else auditioning for a local performance.

I have heard from some who say that the producers and directors already know who they have in mind for what roll while others are very open to fresh faces. How has auditioning changed over the years and how do you get through it without going crazy?
