For next week's On the Sauce, I'm talking to some local bartenders (and you, Indy.commies!) about their favorite winter drinks.

Rules: Must be yummy, wintery* and above ALL, alcoholic!

What are YOUR favorites?

*I still don't know what "wintery" means. I just have to change from wearing bright colors to dull colors, right?

  • Mulled Wine
  • Cider and Whiskey
  • Hot Chocolate and some kind of booze?
  • Egg nog? Is that warm? I don't really understand eggnog, nor am I interested

I bet the Celestial Seasoning Apple Cinnamon tea would be delicious with some spiced rum.

my roommate has recently become obsessed with hazelnut hot chocolate and amaretto. i've gotta hand it to her, it's marvelous!

I love hot buttered rum, peppermint mochas with Bailey's and hot cider with rum ... OMG, is it 5:30, yet? I need to wet my whistle! Sigh, it's only 3:28.
