Victory Field fireworks
Went to the Indians game on the Fourth. The fireworks in the field were awesome as usual. This is a great way to see the fireworks downtown too, from a comfortable seat - with a cold beer. I highly recommend this to anyone. It is alot more family friendly, and I think safer than going downtown and milling around the streets with 100,000 of your closest friends.
I don't know if I'll do it again. It's so crazy getting it and out of there. The friday games with the fireworks are great but the crowd for the 4th was insane. And the Indy fireworks were a real let down this year. The music was terrible and the fireworks were boring. Everyone was extremely rude when it came time to getting out of the parking lot at the zoo. No one was taking turns, total gridlock, a total nightmare. I finally had to just be rude myself and cut in because I had to be at work at midnight. Crazy!
