The Indianapolis Indians managed just three hits Monday night in a 3-2 loss to the Toledo Mud Hens at Victory Field.

Despite being outhit 13-3, the Tribe came close to pulling out a win, taking a 2-1 lead into the eighth.

Don Kelly opened the inning with a double, and Mike Hessman and Jeff Frazier came through with RBI doubles as the Mud Hens took a 3-2 lead.

Right-hander Scott Drucker (8-3) allowed two runs and three hits in seven innings to earn the win. Freddy Dolsi closed it out with two hitless innings of relief for his eighth save.

The Mud Hens took a 1-0 lead in the third on an RBI single by Hessman. The Tribe tied the score in the bottom of the inning on a bases-loaded walk by Jeff Salazar.
