Area fireworks displays rescheduled
The rain caused the rescheduling of Saturx day’s fireworks display to Sunday in Downtown Indianapolis and in several other area communities, including Brownsburg, Mooresville, Zionsville and Franklin.
The Regions Freedom Blast is now reset for Sunday at the same time and location —9:47 p.m. from the top of Regions Bank Tower, 211 N. Pennsylvania St.
The fireworks display at Arbuckle Park in Brownsburg is now scheduled for dusk. Mooresville’s fireworks at Pioneer Park will be at 6 p.m. and Zionsville’s fireworks at Lions Club Park will be at 10 p.m. In Franklin, fireworks at the Indiana Masonic Home will be at 6 p.m.
The Indianapolis Indians home game Saturday night against Louisville at Victory Field was rained out and has been rescheduled to Sunday in a double-header against Louisville, beginning at 1 p.m.
