Indianapolis, IN - September 8, 2008 - The Stacie Sandoval Tropical Jazztet goes to the Artsgarden for its first ever performance there. On Friday, September 19, 2008, beginning at 1:00 p.m., The Stacie Sandoval Tropical Jazztet will have the stage to perform its sizzling and jazzy Latin sounds. Free Admission.

The Stacie Sandoval Tropical Jazztet is excited to perform at this great venue for the first time. The Stacie Sandoval Tropical Jazztet features Ken Fary, the local icon, on the piano. The sensual vocals are provided by Stacie Sandoval, who is also the leader and vocalist of 'Best of Indy' salsa band Orquesta Bravo! That explosive combo is further complemented by the bass and percussion provided by some of the best Latin music and jazz musicians in the Midwest.

The Indianapolis Artsgarden provides a magnificent environment for more than 300 free performances and exhibits each year, and houses the city's only centralized cultural concierge information service. The seven-story-tall glass enclosed structure offers a spectacular view of the city. The facility is owned and operated by the Arts Council of Indianapolis. Located above the intersection of Washington and Illinois streets in downtown Indianapolis, the Artsgarden connects to the Embassy Suites complex and Circle Center Mall. It is linked by the indoor skywalk to the Hyatt Regency, Canterbury, Omni, Westin and Marriott hotels as well as the Indianapolis Convention Center and RCA Dome.

The Artsgarden can be reached by calling (317) 624-2563. The Stacie Sandoval Tropical Jazztet can be reached through its website at www.orquestabravo.com, or by calling (317) 450-0310.
