Very good movie, but be sure to track down and check out the protests and controversy over the film's accuracy, including allegations that the film tells its story by taking phone conversations out of context and manipulating situations to make them seem worse than they were.

Those allegations came down from the guy who owns the arcade that Steve and Billy were at for a large part of the film.

To me, it makes the whole film that much more interesting.

IT takes some getting to, but the link you sent actually leads to this from Walter Day, who actually goes one by one through what he calls inaccuracies and fallacies:

I do still want to say I really enjoyed this movie, and the question over whether its accurate or not sort of just makes it more enjoyable and entertaining to me, and brings up all sorts of questions about documentaries that spills over to "American Teen."

I'll post something about my feelings on that movie as well later on.
