The Elms to Appear Live on Bob & Tom Radio Show!
The Elms will appear live on the Bob & Tom Show on Monday, October 6th from 10:00-10:20am. This marks the first appearance on the program for the Seymour, IN-based band.
The Elms have just released a brand new single to radio, entitled "This is How the World Will End". The single is currently available exclusively through the band's official website - TheElms.net - and will be released to all digital outlets, including iTunes, Amazon, and Rhapsody on October 14th. The Elms will perform the new single as well as "Nothin' To Do With Love" on the Bob & Tom Show, in addition to being interviewed.
The Elms have performed many high profile shows in support of the single release, including Farm Aid 2008, Monolith Festival, Midpoint Music Festival, and an inaugural festival tour of Europe in August. The band also has an upcoming show at the Vogue in Indianapolis on October 16 with Cross Canadian Ragweed, and more tour dates for November & December to be announced soon.
RECENT PRESS EXCERPTS FROM FARM AID 2008:
"The Elms brought their own brand of alt-country, with guitarist Thomas Daugherty shredding some devastating leads, particularly on "Bring Me Your Tea." --- John Voket, Live Daily
"The Indiana foursome were hard rocking around the stage, unafraid to indulge in the rock'n'roll excesses with big drums and bigger guitar solos. Like Springsteen meets Zeppelin, they're securing a place in the rock revival helmed by The Hold Steady and, more recently, The Gaslight Anthem marking them as a group to watch." --- Dylan, etc. On-Line
