This Thursday October 16th two great indie bands are playing a free show in Cincinnati. The Breeders and The National are performing to show their support of presidential candidate Barack Obama. The rally happens in Cincy's Fountain Square from 5 to 9pm and will likely be packed with rockers who vote and voters who rock. What better excuse for an All-American road trip? Who wants to place bets that the Deal sisters will change some of the lyrics to "Last Splash" to reflect the current political climate? Maybe Robert Pollard will catch a ride from Dayton in the Breeders van and do one of his topical comedy monologues? It's rock and roll in the Midwest and anything can happen, right?
