An Indianapolis teen pleaded guilty to robbery Wednesday in two incidents that involved students waiting for school buses.

Four robberies of students took place Jan. 22 on Indianapolis’ Northeastside. Police said three people riding in a car attacked the teen victims between 6:30 and 7 a.m. and stole cell phones, MP3 players, book bags, shoes and lunch money.

Cameron Johnson, then 17, was arrested in connection with two of the robberies. Prosecutors said the other two participants were never identified.

Johnson, now 18, pleaded guilty to two Class B felony robbery counts before Marion Superior Court Judge Mark Stoner.

Sentencing was set for Oct. 9, and his agreement limits any prison sentence to 12 years. The minimum under state law is six years, prosecutors said.
