Superbowl in Indy

It seems like our bid to host the Superbowl last year garnered much more media coverage and overall interest than the proposal the city submitted this year. I would personally love to have the Superbowl here. It would be good for the local economy and it would highlight the city on an international stage. I know others aren't exactly excited about it, but I don't know why. What are your thoughts on the city's chances to host the Superbowl and the accompanying effects on the city?

I hear Kravitz says it's a sure thing. I think it'd be cool but I'm a little skeptical. Indianapolis isn't the greatest place in February.

Yeah, but super bowls have been in colder places eh?

I think it's unlikely at this point. There's a lot that still has to happen as far as I know.

It's like we built all this new stuff in hopes that we'd get to see a bowl game here.
