Sunday Morning News Shows

So, here I sit, recovering from Saturday night and preparing to partake in my Sunday morning ritual. It begins at 9 with FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace. I watch this show just so I can hate Brit Hume, the smuggest man alive. Next is Meet The Press. This show was all about Tim Russert, who went to that big news desk in the sky. Now we've got Tom Brokaw. He's fun to listen to. He sounds perpetually drunk. I don't watch Face the Nation, because it clashes with Meet the Press. And then there's This Week With George Snufflupaguss.

The best part of all these shows is the pundit portion. Watching politicians spout the party line isn't fun at all, but watching George Will or James Carville bloviate is great fun.

I think my favorite of all these shows is still Meet The Press. Since Russert's death, the pundit portion has all but taken over, and that's a good thing.

So, what's your favorite Sunday morning news show?

My mom was a big fan of CSB Sunday Morning. She would always call me and tell me that Jon Bon Jovi or someone was on. Personally, I can't get into them, but if I had to, Meet the Press would be my choice.

My father watches "Sunday Morning" and either records and saves the good bits for me or tells me about them over the phone. I can't say that I watch it religiously, but there are some interesting tidbits that I have found on this show.
