State officials today unveiled a new Web site, aimed at helping the public track Indiana’s share of the federal stimulus package. The site is http://invest.in.gov.

The page includes a link to The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and has a frequently-asked questions section. The site also will provide updates for announcements made for Indiana projects.

In a note to anyone who visits the site, Gov. Mitch Daniels said "we must never forget that Washington does not have the money it is now beginning to distribute. "

“The federal government will be borrowing it, and our children will inherit the bill. Our duty to use it wisely and efficiently is therefore a very solemn one. "
