There's a new kind of chocolate cereal and it's freaking awesome - CHOCOLATE CHEX. It's the best I've ever tasted.

It probably contained asbestos or something. I think I do remember it, though. And I just remembered Cookie Crisp. Little chocolate chip cookies in a bowl! Milk and cookies all at once! Genius!

Captn crunch is a rather painful cereal to enjoy! It helps that I HATE crunch berries more than any other cereal component out there.

Does anyone remember that ice cream cone cereal with little cones and little scoops of icecream (colorful cereal balls)?? It was my FAVORITE as a kid, why did that go away??

Cap'n Crunch and Crunch Berries are good, but they invariably irritate the roof of my mouth. Too much scraping there.

I do like frosted mini-wheats now too.

After all this talk of cereal, I've decided that I need to conduct a thorough investigation. I'm going to begin at the bottom right of the cereal section at my local grocery store (not the top, that's where the unfun cereal is kept) and work my way through the lot of it. It could take years, but they will be good years.

As an adult, I've found myself keeping the cereal-eating for dinner instead of breakfast...maybe I just don't want to devote 10-15 minutes of my morning sitting down to eat! The Special K cinnamon pecan is my new favorite, but to defer to the good ole' days (and sometimes even now), you can't go wrong with the Pebbles--Fruity and Cocoa, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Reese Puffs! I want some now.

I don't know wine but I know cereal. I could list tons and even compare generic counterparts of the name brands from different chains. I don't ever buy it anymore but the best leftover milk has got to be produced by Super Golden Crisps. It is milky, honey awesomeness!

You guys all love fun cereals...

I must have been deprived as a kid because the one I like is Oats & Honey, Quaker used to make but it is really hard to find, it is granola-like with almonds in it, I love it. You can find the Kroger or Marsh brand occasionally.

Guys,

I don't eat much cereal, having taken the advice to Rabbit to heart ("Trix are for kids"). But when I do plop down cereal in a bowl, I add milk. My wife thinks this is so evil. She eats cereal sans milk. Now what kind of person would stoop to such wicked behavior? Despite this major character flaw, we have managed to stay married for more than 30 years. But, man, if i had known this before our marriage ...

How is the chocolate milk at the bottom of the bowl gross?? Mmmm...

I do enjoy the occasional bowl of count chocula, but not for breakfast. I'm not really into the super sugary stuff in the am... my fav is oatmeal squares, followed closely by cheerios and special K.

Chocolately cereals, cinnamon toast crunch, and froot loops are good "after work snack" cereals... can't eat fruity pebbles ever since an unfortunate elementry school vomiting incident (they look EXACTLY the same coming out as they do going in!!!).

you're totally asking the wrong question. The cereal is not the thing, it's definitely the milk that's left in the bowl afterwards that's worth eating the cereal for. I'm with Victory33 on the chocolate milk though, gross. But somehow, the sugary pink-colored milk after Lucky Charms is the best. I love when you get to the bottom of the box, and most of what's left is powdered sugar. That's the best milk ever. Other good cereal milk is: Honey Nut Cheerios, Go Lean Crunch, granola, Smacks, and both milk and cereal version of Golden Grahams are delicious.

Froot Loops, Honey Nut Cheerios, Fruity Pebbles, Grape Nuts (with tons of sugar)...those are what make pre-9 am life worth living.

I guess I'm sort of on the fence about the choco-cereal issue. I'm not a huge fan of Cocoa Puffs of Cocoa Krispies to be honest, but Count Chocula is pretty good.

Oh no, not chocolate cereal, I can't get down with that!

Apple Jacks, Honey Nut Cheerios, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch are pretty decent.

But Chocolate cereal is evil, and it's not chocolate milk your drinking when you finish off that bowl, it's brown extract...please avoid chocolate cereal at all costs...that stuff is foul. I'm starting an anti-chocolate cereal coalition, cause that junk is almost as nasty as chocolate gum or chocolate flavored laffy taffy.
