This is not something that a man can just wake up one morning and dismiss with the alertness of slamming a foot to the ground and screaming "no more"! I have a sickness; it lingers with me unlike anything a simple man should have to suffer. It started in my youth and carried to my teen and adult years. It is simple actually and I would imagine could be cured with very like effort or hassle. I don't know if I choose to be apart of this or if it chooses me. What I do know is that it feels good...no it feels great. Every hit, every time I lay awake at night wondering why things started off so well and ended so miserably. I don't mind that the vortex continues to suck at my being, and I struggle but that taste of victory and knowing that I can not control the outcome of the next series of events overwhelms me with joy and pain. Alpha, I appreciate you opening up the flood gates so that I can share my pain, sorrow, defeat, happiness, joy, and victory with you all. My addiction is simple, but very much an entity that many of us will face in our life time. Through the good and the bad we have both been there for each other and will continue to be in the future. That is just the cycle that is how it has worked for decades and decades. And one day I will die and it will continue on the way it always has.
