      <description>I'm not sure how you can review Hollyhock Hill without spending a paragraph on their amazing beets.  The pickling spices they're using in those homemade beets have some sort of magical quality that elevates the red veggies to an extraordinary side.  The unmentioned apple butter is also a standout.  Neko Case and company agree (scroll down).</description>
