In response to the original question, those sort of download times are normal. It was the same with my brothers xbox, it's not necessarily the speed of your connection that's limiting so much as the servers bandwidth. Make sure you don't have any file sharing or downloads going on from any computers in your house and try to do your download during the morning / daytime. Comcast cable is significantly slower in the evening and night when everyone in your neighborhood is on the web.
