      <description>My big thing is blood donation.  It takes really little time but is SO important.  My little brother would be dead if not for blood transfusions and my grandfather would have died much sooner then he did.

I used to volunteer a lot more in college, but then just sort of got &quot;too busy&quot;.  I've actually been looking into getting back into it.  I'm thinking about the Damien Center or American Cancer Society.

I do like to participate in different events, such as walk/runs and beer or wine tastings for charity (doesn't really count, I know...)</description>

      <description>I've seriously been considering working as a volunteer at the Humane Society of Indianapolis. My dog got killed 2/7 and I've REALLY been missing him. I figure that it might be a way to at least have a dog or two in my life until it's time to find a replacement for him. It will be a while, he was a great buddy. </description>
