Let Bill, Will, Jason & Fred do more, they do have a new female cast member (Can't remember her name right now) and she has shown potential, also Maya is no longer credited, she's 10x's funnier than Keenan. Their viral stuff has been great: "Dick in a Box," the Natalie Portman rap video, and "Lazy Sunday" were all hysterically funny. SNL has never been all that watchable because the show is just so long and there's so much that falls completely flat just because it's impossible to write that much that is just brilliant. Really I think people get nostalgic for some of their favorite performers forgetting how much was really bad (or they watch the "Best of" and start thinking it was ALL great back in the old days, when there was just as much that was bad as good). Really in terms of quality it's probably been pretty much even over the years (with the exception of that one point in the 80s when Eddie Murphy wasn't there). Maybe it's just because of the writers strike and they are not back up to speed, but it is getting harder and harder to support this show. Glad Amy, Kristin, Andy, Will and Bill are doing movies now.
