Harrison Center, Dean Johnson and Big Car have always been fun when I've gone. I'm sure the others will be too though. I put together a listing to help you (and others) figure out where they want to go:

'Also Known As...' at Alias Gallery and Gnosis - A bandana art show

'MICRO/MACRO' at Ruschman Art Gallery - Paintings, drawings and prints by Peg Fierke and Robert Eagerton.

'Still Crazy for the Figure' at AV Framing Gallery - Selected paintings by Caroline Mecklin.

'IDADA Members Juried Exhibition' at Pivot Gallery - The exhibit features works from twenty-six Indianapolis artists. Selections were made by juror Brian Byrn, Curator of Exhibitions at the Midwest Museum of Art in Elkhart, Indiana.

'The Best of El Floundero' at Murphy Art Center - Works by Justin Cooper and Mike Graves in Studio One.

'Quotable Tradition' at EnRoute Gallery - Clay tablets and block prints created by VSAI Urban Artisans represent an homage to Harlem Renaissance Painter William H. Johnson, an important artist who worked in the 1930's and 40's.

'The Trials and Tribulations of Evelyn Masters' at Big Car Gallery - Drawings and prints by Audrey Patten.

'Japanese Show Opening Reception' at Dean Johnson Gallery - Tradition meets contemporary in this show of early 1900s Japanese kimonos on loan from Linda Arndt's collection. The show also features local Japanese artists Shoko Schutte working in ceramics and calligraphy and Yuri Okamoto working in blown glass.
