He's funnier than Letterman or Leno at times. But I definitely wouldn't put him above Conan. Conan's spontaneous behavior, quick wit (as ChoCho mentioned), consistently funny segments (In the yeaaaarr 2000) and hilarious guest characters (Triumph, anyone?) put him up top in my mind. He can take an interview with an awkward, humorless guest and turn it into something hilarious. Everyone has a different sense of humor though, so I completely respect your opinion. I haven't watched Letterman in years...the show seemed to get more conservative when he went to his earlier time slot, which made it less funny. Conan is the undisputed king of late night these days.
