My favorite story as a teen was to tell all my friends about my date with the cutest guy in town. I couldn't believe he asked me out. But, I was all tan and in shape from being a lifeguard that year, so hey, I was looking pretty cute haha, anyway. Keep it in mind, this is a first date. He shows up at my door (meeting my parents for the first time), in sweatpants and a wifebeater! I didn't care, he was hot. But geez, first impressions guy! He takes me to see Karate Kid part 2? 3? I think it was 3. So after, we go for a walk. There was a realtor sign, the kind that hang and the sign swings in the breeze. He starts doing round house kicks, all karate kid like haha. All he could do was talk about himself. Needless to say, he didn't get another date. He just needed to date himself for awhile.

My favorite movie memory...I would have to say when I saw Saving Private Ryan for the first time. I think you would remember that, too. Nice looking generations of men you have there. Especially the littlest guy! He is so adorable.

The awkwardness of watching Y tu mamá también and shortly later Requiem For a Dream in the theater with my parents stands out. I have lots of movie memories as a kid where I'd be full of energy watching movies like Total Recall with friends. We would throw back raw packets of Kool-Aid and handfuls of Skittles, sugar-buzzed and running around the room acting like super soldiers.
