Key Cinemas last month (or maybe the month before...when was Autism: The Musical showing?) and can't wait for the opportunity to return! At first I was a bit fearful..."there's a movie theater in THERE?" Then, I started giggling, thinking of the theater in Stars Hollow (Gilmore Girls fans will know what I'm talking about). It wasn't quite that archaic, but it was most unpretentious and I LOVED it (even wrote about it in a blog on MySpace). My favorite part was when I walked in the door and didn't know where to purchase my ticket. A woman came from behind the snack counter, over to another where I paid my entry...then, I walked over the snack counter...as the same woman walked back behind it to take my popcorn order. It made me smile! I noticed WristCutters is showing...hoping to make my re-visit this weekend! But, back on topic, regarding movies I've been watching on t.v....anybody else watch Blazing Saddles? You cheap b------s! -- and "Scent of a Woman." In the latter, it's interesting that the star, Chris O'Donnell, saw his career flame out a few years later. But the guy playing the skeezy rich boy would go on to win an Oscar and become one of the most respected actors of his generation -- a young (and very thin) Philip Seymour Hoffman.
