If we were going to make a time capsule that would be dug up in 100 years, what would you choose to stick in there to represent the times in which we live? I think I'd put a GM stock certificate in there. There's a chance it might actually be worth something again in 100 years. I'd also choose the box sets of Deadwood, Carnivale, The Sopranos, Rome, and Six Feet Under, so that future generations would think we were geniuses. And . . . a picture of me, so they would also think we were beautiful.
What about you?
a rock, a piece of paper, and scissors.
If they found Carnivale in there... they'd just be pissed when they tried to find the conclusion of the series.
An iPhone, 1 hour of video recorded from Fox News (for humor purposes), photos of the shelves of grocery stores and inside malls.
If they found Carnivale in there... they'd just be pissed when they tried to find ...
Ha! You could say the same of Deadwood. Maybe they'll just think that we forgot to include a season.
(labeled "Before") Pong, Atari, Commodore64, 8 track cassette and a original laser disc.
(labeled "After") XBOX 360, Mac Book Pro, Fujitsu N series LifeBook, ipod touch, and Blue Ray Disc.
Ya know...at first this seemed fun, but now... I just feel OLD!
Thanks Drinky! :)
I made a nice profit on GM stock today but unfortunately it was with play money at updown.com. I bought 5,000 shares this morning at $4.85 and sold at $5.07 an hour later. My point being, even when a stock is down, it can be very profitable.
Your facts are completely unhelpful to my joke.

Yay!
Qualudes. They're going to need them.
I would add current fashion catalogs, an iPod, and all ten seasons of "Friends".
If we send them "Friends" we definitely have to send them Qualudes.
