We haven't finished the whole documentary yet, but last night we cracked open Guerrilla: The Taking of Patty Hearst. The movie starts off by detailing some of the Symbionese Liberation Army. With the exception of Donald Defreeze, most of the SLA looked like normal college kids. The S.L.A. were in the habit of tape recording their demands and making the press play the tape over the radio, television and even printed in various publications. The basis of the video is the kidnapping of Patty Hearst, daughter to a big time publishing tycoon. The S.L.A. had her record bits to be played live as well and parts are truly chilling.
