Wow! This theatre production was awesome. My son and I went to the show on hurricane Sunday. I've always loved the storyline and huge, man-eating plant and its neediness for human flesh. My son loved the motorcycle effects when Audrey's boyfriend rolled in, reving his engine with smoke machines.

The best part of the show was when Audrey was sacrificed to the plant-god. As she disappeared and sunk in to its plantae flesh, the lights went out.

It ended up that the theatre had lost power due to hurricane force winds outside but...who could ask for better timing and a dramatic end-scene! Minutes later, the play continued as usual. Great show, highly recommended esp. per hurricane atmosphere.
