Have you ever visited the Indianapolis Museum of Art? If not, you should. I spent Noon to 5pm there checking it out.It was very relaxing and refreshing to me. My favorite parts were The Clowes Collection and the Gardens. What is your favorite part? Did you know the Galleries are free on Sunday?

I used to volunteer there, it was fun except for the bossy, judgmental old ladies. HAY LADIES VOLUNTEER MEANS I AM NOT GETTING PAID, I COULD DO WITHOUT THE ATTITUDE. :)

I LOVE the IMA! I am constantly monitoring the exhibits to see if there is something new to check out. I was VERY impressed by "Breaking the Mode" which I saw last spring. And as a student, I got a discount and extra credit in one of my classes! Score!

correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the IMA always free?

I try to make it there at least once or twice a year. The Egyptian exhibit they have there now is really good. I also enjoyed the Halston dresses, so 70's!

I did enjoy the Halston exhibit, but thought that it lacked something. I have done some research on Halston for a class project and think that he could have been better represented. However, for what it was, I did like it. Halston is one of my favorites.
