It's no way to go through life ,is it?? Tired of Taco Bell? Go to your local Marsh that has a Food Court. The bread sticks are only 29 cents each. Walk over to the "olive bar" area. There you will find really great Red Pepper Hummus. About $2.00 worth will probably be enough. The bread sticks are BIG and EXCELLENT. There you have it!! A filling snack/meal for about $3.00. Just wondering, where do other people go to eat "on the cheap?"

I had friends who would go to Don Pablos and get a side of beans and a "cold plate" (not sure if it's even on the menu) which is basically chopped lettuce, tomatoes and onions. They'd give you warm tortillas for free. With no drinks it could feed 2-3 for about $4.

I'm happy with a triple-decker PB&J, a half stack of Pringles, and two PBR's.

Being a college student, I find that if you grocery shop wisely it is easy to eat on a few dollars a day. I focus on family size portions that are either cheap or on sale. It can last you a few days and most of them are quite yummy!
