I understand that every television genre has its day and I respect that, but shouldn't the fifteen minutes of fame have already expired on reality TV? It is getting to be sad to the point of why bother? I had been a Big Brother fan in the beginning and then got tired of it quickly and decided that the good guys typically don't win in subsequent seasons. I vowed not to watch it and invariably someone would talk me into it and I would be roped back in for another round of drama.
I admit...the year of Evel Dick was great. He seemed like the worst person in the world and yet the sub-plot of him and his daughter making amends was almost too good to be true...you can't replicate that which is why the 2008 seasons of the show have gone downhill. I am trying to like these people, really I am but the more and more reality shows there are, the harder it is to like any particular one. And now that the celebrities have gotten into it...please, don't get me started (yes, I admit I watch Gene Simmons, but I know the guy so it's fair) George Foreman, Brett Michaels, Flavor Flave (though does he count as a celeb at all?) it's too much! Bring back the sitcom!
Sitcoms rock, but it sounds like you shouldn't watch so much TV
