      <description>Thank you for sharing her work in this article. It is beautifully crafted, and clearly reflects an understanding of character and plot not to mention skill. Bob Sorberra is lucky to have her as a collaborator; even her earliest work for him showed a deep sense of how her color sensitivity could pinpoint the emotional tone for a show. 

At the same time, Jean understands that a costume is something that enables an actor to bloom if done correctly, and one can see this in her work again and again. Her designs are artful, but not to draw attention to themselves. Their beauty and effectiveness are intrinsic to the story. This is true artistry.</description>
