Indianapolis -- Jet engine maker Rolls-Royce said it will recruit 100 experienced machinists at a job fair today. Candidates will be screened at the Rolls-Royce training center from 8 to 11 a.m. Candidates are advised to take three copies of their resumes showing they have machining experience of at least one year. The training center is behind Rolls-Royce's main plant on Sam Jones Expressway (the former Airport Expressway), one stoplight east of the Tibbs Avenue intersection. Rolls-Royce, which employs 4,300 in the metro area, is adding workers because of increased military business. (Star report)
