Red Robin opening?
While gallivanting about with my wife a few weeks ago, we passed a nearly-complete Red Robin on Michigan Road near 465.
Anybody have any inside info on when that's scheduled to open? I've been hankering for bacon-guacamole burger for a long time now (and live too far away to justify the Plainfield location).
For that matter, the rumor is they're putting one in Clay Terrace as well ... any inside info there?

Red Robin in Indy? Thanks for the lead. My tether is tied to the base of the Soldiers and Sailors monument and I rarely get more than 60 blocks from it in any direction.
I love Red Robin! John and I got hooked when we were living in Tacoma over 12 years ago. One late night John and I grabbed a late bite to eat after watching a Sonics game (at the Tacoma Dome-since they were redoing Key arena) and we were seated the next table over from Sam Perkins Jason Kidd. They are much taller in real life. John loves the Whiskey River BBQ burger and the steak fries are always crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. I can't wait to bring the girls.
I think I have the insider info you're looking for. My husband is the GM of the Red Robin on Michigan Rd. It is scheduled to open on January 14, 2007. The one in Clay Terrace is scheduled to open in March, but I'm not sure of the exact date at this time. More good news, one is slated to open in Noblesville around June 2008. I'm glad to hear that there are Red Robin fans in Indy.
We had a Red Robin at Castleton Square long enough for me to go one time and get the onion rings which were excellent...but now the thought of a guacamole bacom burger has me hungry.
My Red Robin experiences were back in Northwest Indiana ... loved the Blue Ribbon Burger (blue cheese crumbles, onion straws and chipotle mayo). I assume the above meant Jan. 14, 2008 (not '07)?
I read it as '08 (of course, if it really did open in '07, let me know so I can go get lunch).
All in all, that's great news. Bit of a shame that all three new locations will probably be equidistant from me, but oh well, still close enough to get my guac on.
I think there is one in Avon near that big new shopping center... they are pretty good.
It's actually in Plainfield, right next to Metropolis - and it's awesome.
