RE: Welcome
I will agree. There needs to be Smoking designated clubs (i.e. Hookah Bars, Cigar Bars, etc.) who have business that is built around smoking. That way anyone who works there or goes does so of their own volition. They should probably be taxed a bit higher (or the cigarette companies should be taxed an additional amount) for the increased health care burden placed on tax payers.
The rest need to be smoke free, Drinky. I hate perfume too although I don’t seem to wake up smelling like perfume after a night clubbing. Only smoke. Dirty, filthy, nasty smoke. I don’t know of anyone personally that has died from perfume, although I must say I have wanted to!
Had the pleasure of having my father die in my arms from complications associated with smoking. For those of you smokers who say “you gotta die of something”… The dying was the easy part. It was the extended suffering, the shear terror of not being able to breath, over and over, the hell on Earth that took years to kill… that… that’s what you might want to focus on. Death was a gift, smoking was misery.
It’s the lesser of two things. Is your freedom curtailed, sure. Can you still go out and we both enjoy the public world without damage, yes. I’m sorry, oh glorious Drinky, this is the ONE time I struggle with your genius.
