Rat Rod Club?
I am looking for a Rat Rod club. I want to get some direction on getting started on a Model A or some type of flat-head. Unfortunately, I don't really know anyone around Indy that is connected to this.
It is my contention that the Rat Rods are the true link between the original hot-rods of the fifties and sixties and today's art-car hot rods. I can't afford the new stuff and I wasn't around for the early stuff, so now that I am able, I want to build my own and the rat-rod profile looks like my kind of stuff!
Unfortunately, I don't have any idea how to get started or where to go for expertise on these old cars. HELP!

there are several car clubs in town -- the Exiles, the Road Rockets, the Emperors -- all of em got the rat rods.

Come out to the Cruise in at Washington Square...they may be able to get you in touch with some people who can help you out.

When is the cruise in?
Every Saturday in Greenwood at the Suds drive in there are between 50-200 cars. People come to hang out, exchange ideas and there are even some cars for sale.

The Suds, I agree, is a great place to meet all kind of car nuts. Too bad the weather has been so bad lately. Sat. night is the best.
