'Pretty woman' Julia Roberts knows how to rough it
"My uncle owned a camp in Minnesota, a girls' camp that's still up and running called Camp Birchwood. All the cool things I know how to do, I learned how to do at camp," the Oscar winner revealed.
Like what? "Carry a canoe on my back for miles and miles. That's kind of cool," she said.

Roberts started working with the Hole in the Wall camps 13 years ago, when she was "just looking for a summer volunteer job. This one appealed to me on a lot of levels." Today, the mom of twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 4, and Henry, almost 2, remains as dedicated as ever. "I have three healthy kids. I'm so fortunate. It definitely makes me understand the sanctuary that the camp is. It's really a treasure."
Newman died in September, and his absence was acutely felt by the attendees. "I'm trying not to do too much thinking, really," Roberts said.
