Police continued to seek information Monday about events that led to a fatal shooting last week.

Police believe two other people might have been with Scott Morin, 24, Indianapolis, when he suffered a gunshot wound Wednesday to his neck while standing in a garage at his mother’s residence in the 7500 block of Sycamore Grove Court.

Morin died Saturday night a few minutes before midnight.

Police have spoken to one of the people, said Sgt. Paul Thompson a spokesman for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Police want to learn the identity of the other person and speak to him about what occurred, Thompson said.

The victim’s mother was in her home when she heard the gunshot, Thompson said. She went to the garage and found her son on the floor.

Police ask anyone with information to call IMPD homicide detectives at (317) 327-3475 or Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-TIPS.
