Police identify victims in dice game shooting
Police were seeking leads Wednesday in a shooting at a Westside dice game that killed one man and wounded another.
Lenardo Moton, 27, Indianapolis, was shot several times in the chest Tuesday. He was found face down at the entrance of an apartment in the 3600 block of North Glen Arm Road, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. He was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Moton was part of a group of people playing dice at the Las Palmas Apartments, said Lt. Jeff Duhamell, IMPD spokesman. Two men pulled guns and started shooting at the others, he said.
Gordon Parker, 20, Indianapolis, was shot in the arm. Parker was taken to Wishard, where he was treated and released.
