I was one of the lucky 72 arrested at this years “Friday” events. I was in the front row at the the Three doors Down concert,, there was a very intoxicated individual pushing and shoving his way to the front, an officer asked me to grab him and push him towards him, as I did what the officer said we tripped over a cooler and the next thing I know I was being drug over the gate by two other IPD officers and slammed to the ground later finding out that I recieved 3 fractured ribs.

I was taken to a tent about 100 yards south east of the stage, verbally abused, shoved around and just plain mistreated. I was told I was being chrged with PI (public intox). I had 2 beers at 11:00 am, coke the rest of the day and was held for 12.5 hours at the lovely Marion county jail.

I was again verbally abused, just treated like crap, no breathalyzer no BAC of any kind. I listened to correctional officers telling hispanic individuals, telling them to put their El’ass o’s in the blue El’chair o’s, not very professional, just down right offensive.

12 hours of listening to this kind of crap, I was released on my own, no judge, no court date no nothing, 12 hours of abuse, a crappy meal and released. This was truely a vulgar display of power, using their badge to treat people like animals. Rediculous!

I missed my son’s 17th birthday, my motorcycle was towed from the track and all for nothing, I was no way in the wrong…….rediculous.
