With all the things that we have to worry about like North Korea, Bin Laden, Iraq and all of that, do we need to really add “pirates” to that list? I am glad to see that captain get freed safe and that is a very good thing. I mean look at the huge ship and look at that little “life boat” or mini-sub or whatever you wanna call it. It’s crazy that this happened in the first place. I have a few ideas to perhaps combat this growing concern:

With radar and the methods to detect incoming danger, if you have an un-identified craft coming your way, shoot everyone on board and then you have instant “shark bait”. Do you think someone on the mainland is gonna be like “yo we have some missing pirates that were on the way to jack this ship and we haven’t heard back”. I doubt anyone will miss these clowns.

Or, if they do get on the ship, find a way to detain them before they get you. Then, pull some Captain Hook shit and make them “walk the planks”. Once they jump in the water it would be cool to be on the big boat, point and laugh and watch them turn into shark bait. Hats off to the Navy Seals on the swift justice that was given!
