One dead in motorcycle clubs dispute

A 24-year-old man was arrested Friday on a preliminary charge of murder in the shooting death of an Indianapolis man at a motorcycle clubhouse.

Brandon Green, Indianapolis, is accused of shooting Warren Stokes, 46, Thursday night at the Gunslinger’s Motorcycle Club clubhouse, 2337 Yandes St. Stokes died about 3:30 a.m. Friday at Methodist Hospital.

Police say the shooting may have been the result of a dispute between rival motorcycle clubs.

Green turned himself in Friday and was arrested after questioning, police said.
