Does Indy have any kind of "tall bike" club? We need one, if not. Other cities have these mutant bike gangs, and, OK, I'll start one if I need to.

I'm really hoping all the "low rider" bicycle guys decide to start parking along the circle next to the harley and "crotch rocket" guys on the weekend.

There is one odd guy that rides around downtown on a tall bike, but I don't think it's the kind you're thinking of. Anybody else seen this guy? I think he's got some Christian propaganda bling on the bike (or maybe it was his clothes) too.

How tall is the bike, Matt?

Pretty tall. Definitely double-take tall.

I know there's a sort of club for single speed bikes(not the same as really tall bikes, I know). Single speeds are cool because you can skid like crazy.

Do you mean Knife's Edge Bicycle Club? That's a single-speed club, and one that I'm in. What kind of tall bike am I thinking of Matt? The only ones I know of are the ones that are several frames high, welded together. KnowwhatImean?

How do you stop in traffic on those tall things?

I would like to start a gang of unicycle riders.

Unicycles! Shimmercore, now you're talking! Can I be in the gang? I guess I have to look for a unicycle now.

My brother used to have a 'high bike'. In the mid 70's he and some highschool buddies made them. They would not have traditional brakes and stopping consisted of jamming the toe of your sneaker between the back wheel and the frame. They used steering wheels instead of handlebars. It was a lot of fun to ride, but not exactly the most stable thing.

hmmm... I'm not sure if I can post pictures, but

These definitely need to be on the streets. If you seriously start a mutants bike gang, I'm in.
