Indiana State Police on Wednesday arrested three Henry County Community Corrections officials — two of them veteran New Castle police officers — on corrupt business influence, misconduct and ghost employment charges.

Community Corrections Director Doug Sheets, 57, Centerville; Home Detention Manager Jim Heffernan, 39, New Castle; and Field Officer Matthew Patterson, 38, New Castle; were booked into the Henry County Jail, State Police said.

Heffernan and Patterson are police officers.
