My Bloody Valentine 3D poster
Looks like there's a poster out for the upcoming "My Bloody Valentine 3D" starring Jensen Ackles, late of "Smallville," and currently of the CW's "Supernatural."
Yes, this is a remake of the early '80s cult classic horror movie, which coincidentally I saw at a drive-in when I was probably 8 years old. All I remember is them using the bloody washing machine schtick they have copied in films like "Halloween: Resurrection," and in vaguely being terrified that the miner would jump in front of my car and shout "Thanks for the ride, lady," but I might be confusing that with another movie.
Anyway, here's your poster, ya filthy animals, courtesy of Empire. No, not the carpet place, the magazine.

Oh yeah, that's right. :)
Yes, you're very correct. I wanted to see if anyone was really paying attention and would catch that. Creepshow 2 was one of my favorite bad scary movies when I was a kid.
Heck yes, the lake monster on the dock/raft still kinda freaks me out to this day! The original Creepshow was pretty cool too. Stephen King is reportedly involved in making another one as we speak.

There was actually a Creepshow 3 that came out recently, but I believe without either George Romero or Stephen King. It was a straight-to-video kind of deal where someone got the rights to the name and just plopped something stanky on camera.
Wasn't "Thanks for the ride, lady," from Creepshow 2? Where the lady hit the hitchhiker, and he kept appearing? I remember watching that movie a bunch when I was young.
Yeah, I saw that on Netflix, from what I've read it was not an official sequel and King is ignoring it as such. So we can erase that from our mind and enjoy the new one coming out.
