Miss Derringer and Girl in a Coma. Girl in a Coma are Texas ladies who met in middle school art class and recruited a little sister to sing. Discovered by Joan Jett and signed to her Blackheart Records label, Girl in a Coma will rock Indy near the start of their tour of the USA. They are working on a new album for Blackheart called “Trio B.C.” Miss Derringer are Liz McGrath (vocals), Morgan Slade (guitar),Sylvain de Muizon (bass), Cody James (drums) and Ben Shields (lead guitar). They are influenced by 60s Girl Groups, Spaghetti Westerns, Books On Tape and Downtown Los Angeles’ Skid Row. Their new 2-song EP “Black Tears” is available on iTunes. Doors at 8pm Tickets available at Future Shock in Broad Ripple.
