Mike Chappell's power rankings
1. Indianapolis Colts: They’ve got the league’s longest active regular-season winning streak at 15 games. If they take care of business the next two weeks, it’ll be at 17 when the Evil Empire — OK, New England — visits Nov. 15.
2. New Orleans Saints: This video-game offense is getting ridiculous. They’re the first team in league history to pile up at least 45 points in four of their first six games. Can the Falcons slow ’em down, or keep up?
3. Denver Broncos: To remain unbeaten, Kyle Orton and the Broncos must venture to Baltimore and deal with a suddenly vulnerable Ravens defense. It has given up 77 points during a three-game losing streak.
4. New England Patriots: Nice stretch in the schedule. Last week, travel to London and whack the Bucs. This weekend, off. Next Sunday, home with Miami.
5. Minnesota Vikings: Hmmmm. The story line today? All Brett Favre-back-in-Lambeau, all the time. How much is too much? We’ll find out.
