Why did you become a teacher: I feel that I have been blessed with the ability to relate with young children. I want to be a positive influence in my students’ lives.

What goals do you have for your students: I want my students to enjoy school and develop a love of learning early.

What do you encourage parents to do at home to help their children strengthen particular skills: Read to your child every day.

Name your favorite movie: “Good Will Hunting.”

What’s something your students might not know about you: I’ve met author and illustrator Jan Brett.
