Meet the Artist XX
Boy! If you missed this year's Meet the Artist Gala that took place this past Saturday at the new Central Library, you really missed something. Tony Radford of the Marion County Public Libray pulled off a very classy event of poets, musicians, and vocalists. The evening was highlighted by the appearance of the Avery Brooks, with the grand finale being Thierry Baptiste's Haut Couture Fashion Show, which featured SunRae Phoenix performing her poem, Inner Beauty, and dazzling the audience in the show-stopper dress.

Thanks for this info, Allen. I've been off the site for a few days so I just now getting it. I picked up that bug that's been going around and just couldn't handle a dinner party & poetry. SIAM & I definitley plan to be there this Sunday though.
