Record: 2-2. Last time out: Lost 34-14 at Stanford.

Which Huskies team will show up Saturday?

The one that challenged then-No. 11 LSU in the opener and upset then-No. 3 USC two weeks later?

Or the one that collapsed at Stanford last weekend?

Certainly not then-coach Ty Willingham ’s final team that went 0-12 last season and struggled to score after QB Jake Locker suffered a broken thumb in the fourth game and was lost for the season.

Willingham was fired and replaced by former USC offensive guru Steve Sarkisian .

Locker is back and thriving under Sarkisian.

USC coach Pete Carroll said Locker is “the best quarterback we’ve played in nine years here.” (Sorry, Brady Quinn fans.)

Locker struggled at Stanford, and so did the Huskies’ offense.

Five receivers have caught at least one 30-yard pass. James Johnson is Locker’s primary target, but D’Andre Goodwin and Jermaine Kearse are deep threats.
